Just last week on 13 December, Jin of BTS enlisted for his 18-month mandatory military service, and was joined by his family and the rest of the BTS members.

And even before his official enlistment, Jin updated his fans with a picture of his freshly shaven head to comply with the military requirements, saying: “It’s cuter than I thought” which also received a lot of compliments from ARMY.

Though it hasn’t been long since Jin enlisted, many fans have been saying how much they miss their “Worldwide Handsome,” and how the past ten days have felt like an eternity for them…

But luckily for ARMYs who have been missing Jin, a new photo of the oldest BTS member has since been uploaded on The Camp, an app for families to use to receive updates on their loved ones who are currently serving in the Korean military.

The app provides access to official military photos that have been uploaded, details about their daily meals, and a virtual letterbox. Here, photos of military recruits are frequently updated, and Jin's picture was one of them.

In the photo, Jin is seen smiling and has slightly longer hair than in the previous buzz cut photo he posted on the Weverse app.

Ahh, our hearts!

Different hashtags about Jin have since started to trend on Twitter with ARMYs becoming emotional, however thankful for the update.

We’re glad that he’s doing well!

Hold on ARMYs, he will be back sooner than you expect!
