Young Girl Selling Her Artwork For RM1 In Front Of Her House Goes Viral!

A young girl sold all six of her drawings in just one hour!

7-year-old Alya Aqeela Muhammad Fadhil started selling her paintings in front of her house in Kampung Malaysia Raya in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (September 7th).

Her father, Muhammad Fadhil Mohd Zainuddin said the idea to open up her own booth in front of their house was very sudden, however, he tried to support his daughter and ended up letting her open the booth selling her drawings with her little sister.

He added that she got the idea after seeing him sell durians in Desa Petaling.

Most recently, a 40-second video shared by Imaa Zain went viral on social media which garnered over 85,000 views at the time of writing, showing Aqeela selling her drawings for only RM1.

Imaa, who is also Aqeela’s aunty, shared the video online saying that the kids were happy that they were able to have their own business.

“She was able to sell all six of her paintings. It was bought by our family members who came over to buy them. But since it has gone viral, she still enjoys selling her drawings every day.

“Even now, there are strangers who come by to buy her paintings. She sometimes gets RM50 a day by selling her drawings,” her father said when interviewed by JoHaRa Pagi ERA.

Future businesswoman in the making! Keep up the good work, Aqeela!
