“It’s better to be single than having to live your life with the wrong person.”
A Malaysian woman recently confessed on an anonymous Twitter page that her father has been setting her up with men, because he is worried that she’s 30 and is still single.

In the tweet, the woman revealed that her father even tried to set her up with one of his friends, who is the same age as her father, and asked her to get to know the man first before rejecting him.
“I am extremely stressed because my parents are pressuring me to marry. I’m fine single and content with my current life, but my parents are concerned.
“But how can you force a relationship? It’s gotten out of hand because recently my father’s friend dropped by our house and expressed his interest in marrying me,” she continued.
Her parents also advised her to dress nicely at work, smile more often and try to make friends with guys.
Netizens were of course shocked when they found out that her father had set her up with his friend, “Please don’t marry him. Your father might side with his friend and it could turn you and your father’s relationship sour.”
While another person advised her to tell her father the truth, and that she is going to take her own time getting to know someone before deciding to get married: “Tell your dad he is too old for you and that you’re interested.”
