It’s been well over two weeks since the 2020 Tokyo Olympics started and so far, we are enjoying every moment of it… from home!

And one of those moments was British diver Tom Daley recently caught on everyone’s television screen, knitting while watching the women’s 3m springboard final on Sunday (August 1st) at the Games.

Videos of him knitting not just amused many on social media but they were also wondering what the diver was knitting that day.

The British gold medallist then cleared the air and said that he was actually knitting a dog’s jumper.

Daley has an Instagram page dedicated to his knitting and crochet pieces, where he shared that he had also made a gorgeous pink cardigan for Malaysian diver Cheong Jun Hoong in May this year!

“I made my dear friend Cheong Jun Hoong a cardigan,” he captioned the post.

Such a cute friendship and we’re jealous!

The Malaysian diver also took to her social media to thank Tom for the special handmade gift saying that it was “lovely”.

Tom Daley shared that learning to knit and crochet has helped him tremendously throughout the years and he even knitted a pouch for his gold medal win!

We are high-key loving this friendship!
