An Orang Asli village at Kampung Poloh Hinai in Pekan, Pahang, had their food supply cut off due to the flood, but thanks to preacher Ustaz Ebit Lew, they finally had their food supply resumed after six days.

According to the Malay Mail, Ebit Lew said that the village has around 300 villagers and a small sundry shop, which has since run out of food due to the flood.

“We brought along 500 sets of food and other food supplies. I also gave some pocket money to the mothers and children,” said Ustaz Ebit.

In an Instagram post, Ustaz Ebit Lew shared some photos of the children who were there to greet him when he arrived with the provisions.

He also said that the villagers, consisting of the Jakun tribe, were very welcoming towards him and his team, “It was sad to see them fight to come to our boat. There are so many that still need help and not enough time.”

Ustaz Ebit rushed from Jerantut, Pahang, to the village and spent one whole day distributing the necessities.

“We went with eight boats, travelling from one place to another. From 8am to 3pm it was raining the whole time.”

Ebit Lew expressed his sorrows and asked his followers to pray for the victims as they had suffered for five days, as there was no food, “All their furniture, vehicles, and houses are underwater. No public utilities for five days.”

This is so sad! Thank you, Ustaz Ebit Lew for your kindness and generosity!
