A finance company in the United States is offering to pay US $1,300 or RM 5,410 to one individual who is willing to watch 13 horror films in October.
This is to find out whether the film’s budget affects the outcome.

The company, FinanceBuzz, will hire one individual to fill a position called the Horror Movie Heart Rate Analyst and the selected individual will watch 13 out of the scariest movies ever produced while monitoring their heartbeat using a Fitbit, the company said in a statement.
“We would like to know whether high-cost horror films are able to convey deer more effectively than low cost films,” the statement read.
The individual will have to watch 13 selected films in 10 days from October 9th to October 18th.
The selected films include Saw, Amityville Horror, A Quiet Place, A Quiet Place Part 2, Candyman, Insidious, The Blair Witch Project, Sinister, Get Out, The Purge, Halloween, Paranormal Activity and Annabelle.
The analyzer will also be given a Fitbit tracker for free!
If you’re interested, you can submit an application and tell them why YOU are the best person for the position, and the selected individuals will be announced on October 1st.
However, the application is only open to those who are currently living in the United States and are at least 18-years-old.
