Malaysia has been experiencing continuous rain since last week which has led to flooding in several areas in the country.

But despite the heavy rain and floods, Malaysians are still going on with their lives - going to school, going to work… and getting married.
In a video that recently went viral on TikTok, a man can be seen carrying his niece, who was in her wedding dress, through rising floodwaters so that she doesn't have to get her dress wet to get to the dais.
The video, shared by user @oohlysa shows heavy rain and rising water level starting to rise at the woman’s home, believed to be in Kuala Rompin in Pahang.
What stole netizens’ hearts was when the uncle is seen lifting up his niece in his arms and then wades through the floodwaters with her just so that she won’t get her dress wet.
The niece, who was moved by her uncle’s action, was seen wiping her tears away.
The video has since garnered over 3.9 million views at the time of writing.
Netizens were touched and took to the comment section to congratulate the bride on her wedding day, “He is an amazing man,” one person commented.
“How can a 28-seconds video make me cry this much? It’s ridiculous!”
