Just last Tuesday we wrote about a man dressed as a ghost, scaring teens into quarantine. Today, he received a visit from the police, just to thank him!

Muhammad Urabil shared on Facebook that police officers from the Kemaman District Police Headquarters came by his house just to show their appreciation to the hantu that has been terrorizing teenagers to obey the MCO.
“Before this it was the ghost that scares people, now it is the ghost that is scared” he wrote in his caption.
He initially thought that the police came to arrest him for dressing up as a ghost and scaring the teens. Even his wife was scared for him!
“They asked me about what I did, wearing an all-white costume just to scare away teenagers at night,” he told Harian Metro.
He was then told by the police officers to put on Gandalf's costume before going out to meet them.

"Only God knew my feelings at the time. However, my anxiety quickly disappeared the moment they told me that the police just wanted to say thank you," he added
The police took pictures with him and even gave him a new nickname; The Ghost Detective!
“I am relieved that my actions were appreciated especially by frontliners”
"The police thank me for my actions in encouraging the people to stay home in accordance with the Movement Control Order," he said.
According to him, the number of teenagers wandering around Anika Jaya Park in Kampung Tempurung has since decreased and to this day, pictures of the “ghost” are still being shared on social media.
Way to go ghost man! Now kids, stay at home!
