However, the majority of people still treat video games as a hobby or as a tool to reduce stress.
A video, shared by TikTok user @sembilann recently went viral of a student who was so focused on playing video games on his class’ computer, not realizing that his lecturer was standing behind him.
In the video, the male student can be seen playing a video game in class while the other students crowd around him to watch, not realizing that the lecturer is standing behind them, watching them quietly.
One of his friends asked him to turn around, which he did and the look on his face when he saw his lecturer standing behind him was priceless! He felt so sorry that he kept on apologizing to his lecturer.
He then quickly turned off the video game and switched to another programme.
“It was so embarrassing!” the caption reads.
However, he clarified in the comment section that he wasn’t actually playing the game and it was just a video on YouTube. He also added that it was during their break time and he didn’t realize that the 5 minutes break was over.
The video has since garnered over 848,000 views at the time of writing.
Netizens took to the comment section to share their amusement, saying that it was normal sometimes to use the school’s computer for your own enjoyment.
“There’s no harm in using the computer during your break, as long as you focus in class and do your assignments,” one person commented.
So funny! The lecturer’s reaction was hilarious!
