SPM candidates have undoubtedly been revising diligently to achieve good results, particularly in the subjects they must pass to succeed in the exam.
Recently, however, a TikTok video went viral after a teacher shared a nerve-wracking moment when one of their students almost missed the examination.
In a TikTok video posted on the account @cikguhanomtaib, a teacher recounted the tense situation when a student had not arrived at school just as the History paper was about to begin.
The video shows the teachers frantically trying to contact the student, making dozens of phone calls in their effort to locate them.
"Please don’t be late to school. There’s so much we teachers need to handle before you enter the examination hall, especially attendance. Don’t skip SPM without a valid reason.
"A lot of people would have to answer on your behalf if you don’t show up. We’d need to come up with all sorts of explanations. Anyway, let’s move on from History and focus on Mathematics next. Fighting!" the teacher advised.
As of now, it remains unclear whether the student managed to attend the examination or not.
