In her post, she recounted a moment when she and her husband accidentally left their youngest child behind at a rest stop in Johor, only to be rescued by a group of three foreign workers.

Expressing her gratitude, Shahila wrote, “So thankful, my youngest child was helped by 3 Bangladeshi workers, the one whose name is Ismail gave his phone to call me and bought him some bread and water.”

Her post continued with appreciation for Ismail and his two friends from the Petron station at the Pagoh R&R, emphasising that their kindness would never be forgotten. She added, “There are foreigners out there who have noble hearts.”

@shahilashah Peeingatan untuk parents.. Check anak2 bila beehenti kat rnr atau mana2.. Jgn jadi macam ni😢 Kejadian malam 17. 2.2024 #shahilashah #tertinggalanak #rasanakpengsan #hati2 #fyp ♬ original sound - Shahila Shah

In a series of three videos, Shahila documented the sequence of events, including the moment when Ismail called her to inform her about her forgotten child, as well as her and her husband's return to the rest stop to retrieve him.

In the video, her son could be seen sitting by the roadside, accompanied by the compassionate foreign workers.

Shahila also took the opportunity to remind all parents to remain vigilant about their children's whereabouts, especially when travelling. “A reminder for parents, check on your children when you stop at an R&R or anywhere. Don’t be like this,” she added, underlining the importance of parental awareness.

This heartwarming story serves as a touching reminder of the kindness that exists in the world, often demonstrated by strangers who go out of their way to help others in need.

Shahila's experience highlights the beauty of human compassion and the impact it can have on individuals and communities alike.
