Now that we’ve entered the month of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world will be fasting for 30 days, refraining from food and drinks.
Though you’re not allowed to eat or drink, our Muslim frontliners in Malaysia are still coming to work every day, despite the hot weather and being stuck in the uncomfortable PPE suit all day.

A frontliner herself, Nurul Nadirah, shared a few pictures of her and a few other frontliners who had to sit down to take a break near a sidewalk, from being too tired.
She explained that her team at the hospital where she was, were in charge of screening students from 20 buses that carried Malaysians who just returned from Egypt, and there were around 400 students in total!

The screening process started well in the morning and needed extra attention to detail which made the entire process long, and by the time it was afternoon, one by one of her colleagues began to fall.
Many of her colleagues, including herself, were drained from working and for being under the hot weather all morning that they started feeling weak, shivers, nausea, and even faintness.

What an inspiration! We truly appreciate all the hard work that the frontliners put in, just so that ALL Malaysians are safe from this terrible virus. We hope that they are all safe and healthy, too!
Let's do our part, and stay at home! We take care of our frontliners, while they take care of those who are sick!
