The Negeri Sembilan man told Malay Mail that since his mini train was completed, many have booked to get on the train ride and at times, he was unable to fulfill all their wishes.
With interstate travel now allowed, many have been returning to their kampung and children from all over Malaysia are excited to get on the train ride.
Sahran said that there are days where he couldn’t meet everyone’s wishes because of too many bookings and his schedule was tight. He also has two motorcycle escorts in the front and back for safety reasons to make sure that the children are properly inside the train.
The young man, who hails from Jempol’s FELDA Pasoh is a contractor and his ATV ride is a way for him to generate side income.
He added that he started charging a small fee and earns RM70 a day.
The idea to build the mini train came when he saw other villagers did similar things in other areas. When he saw one of his friends riding a mini train, he decided to make his own using empty water containers and his ATV.
He bought the ATV five years ago for use in oil palm plantations, but because there were potholes coupled with his back pain from all the trips, he stopped using it.
What a way to cheer up the kids after all this time being cooped up in their houses due to the pandemic.
The train looks fun!
