Lynn described how her son was submerged underwater in a shallow pool when a young girl, seemingly smaller in size, deliberately stepped on his face. Her husband, who was capturing memories of their children's playtime, noticed the distressing situation and immediately intervened, pulling the girl away and reprimanding her. However, when he searched for the girl's parents, he found only her father, who appeared disinterested in his children's actions as he focused on his phone.
Upon returning home from work, Lynn learned about the incident from her son and husband. Disturbed by the event, Lynn confronted her husband with numerous questions, seeking to understand what had transpired. Although her husband urged her to let it go, stating that the girl was small and not to escalate the matter, Lynn believed there was a broader lesson to be learned.
