Now that everyone’s stuck at home due to the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO), we’ve turned to online shopping for the things we need since non-essential shops are not allowed to operate during this period.
But, buying things online has its risks. Risks of getting scammed by fake sellers or receiving broken or damaged items during the delivery process.
One Facebook user, Tan Xin Hao shared his disappointment after a monitor he ordered arrived in a bad condition.

His caption read: “This is not the first time I received a broken item with this delivery courier. Now, who is going to pay for our loss?
“I paid extra because it's a fragile item. But this is the extra you gave me,” he continued.
Tan also shared several photos of the monitor and the box it came in.
The box was torn and the monitor screen showed parts where it had been dropped.
He ended his post saying, “You all played bola sepak with my parcel or what?”

Speaking to SYOK, Tan said that he was lucky after discussing the issue with the seller, they knew there wasn't much hope and took the loss and replaced it with a new unit for free, but he still had to pay for shipping and insurance.
He even emailed the courier company but was annoyed that he couldn't attach any photos in the email as proof.
Alamak! We would be angry too if we ordered a computer and it arrived with a shattered screen.
We hope those who are responsible would look into this matter ASAP!
