Video Of Man Throwing RM100 Notes In Shopping Mall Went Viral, Receives Mixed Reactions From M’sians

A video has been circulating social media recently showing a man throwing a fistful of RM100 notes down onto the ground floor of a shopping mall.

In the video, it appears that the man was in a shopping center in Kuala Lumpur and was holding a handful of RM100 notes which totalled to around RM800 - RM1,000.

He is seen standing on the upper floor while he “sprinkled” the notes down to the ground floor.

The man then continued recording as the money flew down to the ground floor. His actions, however, received mixed reactions from the public with many advising him to give the money to those in need instead.

“If I see such a huge amount of money on the floor, I’d be too scared to pick it up because it’s not mine,” one person said, “Next time if you want to do this, at least tell us in advance so we can be there,” another one said jokingly.

The video has since garnered over 1.2 million views at the time of writing.

Apparently this is not the first time the TikTok user has done something like this. In his previous video, the man is seen slipping RM100 notes in between books at a bookstore and leaving a few RM50 notes at a beach.

What do you guys think of this? Would you take money that you found on the floor knowing that it’s not yours?
