On May 16, 2023, the influencer and content creator posted several pictures of herself at Singapore Changi Airport, expressing her admiration for the airport. In the photos, she confidently poses while wearing a brown crop top.

Unfortunately, her post garnered a number of body-shaming comments from netizens. One comment read, "When an airport goes to an airport," displaying a clear lack of cultural understanding and respect. Other negative remarks followed suit, demonstrating a lack of empathy and maturity.

However, amidst the negativity, there were netizens who stood up against the body-shaming comments and criticized those responsible. One netizen astutely highlighted, "Stop body shaming, and don't lack common sense when you're trying to tell a joke."

It is disheartening to witness such disrespectful behavior in the online community…

One netizen aptly stated, "The comments here really make me feel that some people shouldn't be human," expressing the frustration and disappointment caused by such actions.

At present, Okokokmou has not addressed the body-shaming comments publicly. However, it is essential for us, as a society, to recognize that it is already 2023—a time when we should maturely embrace all body types and refrain from making disrespectful and body-shaming "jokes."
