This is not the way we should treat our frontliners!

Since the beginning of the pandemic in January, our frontliners have been working tirelessly and selflessly, putting their own health and safety at risk just to keep Malaysians safe from the virus.
So, for this reason alone, our frontliners should always be appreciated, and to be treated with kindness and respect.
One Twitter user, Suhaizam (eejamDojo) shared the discrimination his sister, who is a nurse, faces every day due to her job:
People refusing to get on the same elevator as her because she was in her uniform
Shopkeepers refusing to let her buy groceries from their store because she was in her uniform
Got scolded when she was filling petrol at a petrol station in the morning before going to work, some even said that her uniform “carries the virus”
Suhaizam added that his sister’s uniform is completely germ-free, “If your child is sick, would you prevent them from going to the hospital since everyone there wears the uniform? If you are actually aware of hospital procedures then you would know!”
He even assured his followers that his sister does not wear the uniform when treating COVID-19 patients as they are required to change into their personal protective equipments (PPE), while the white uniform is only worn until they sign in for the day.
The nurses are required to wash their uniforms thoroughly every single day, and they make sure that they shower at the hospital before leaving, and another shower once they are at home.
His tweet has since garnered over 13.9 thousand rewteets and 10.5 thousand likes.
We’re better than this, Malaysians! Let’s be kinder to each other, okay?
