As we’re all well aware, many Malaysians are currently affected by devastating floods in several states.
As of this week, over 22,000 people remain at evacuation centres in Johor, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Perak and Selangor.
But being Malaysians, we like to make the most out of every situation, as many videos flooded social media over the past few days, showing Malaysians helping each other and still going about their daily lives in spite of how bad the floods are.
Here are some of many of these videos that show Malaysians staying in high spirits, while also upholding #KitaJagaKita:
It’s seeing scenes from the public like this that make us proud to be Malaysian!
Our thoughts go out to all those affected by the ongoing floods, especially those who have lost loved ones swept away by strong currents.
