Batu seremban, galah panjang or congkak… we wonder which traditional games they’ll be playing in the Malaysian version of Squid Game!
Cineplus Asia has released a short sneak peek of Taruh, a short film inspired by Netflix’s hit South Korean show, Squid Game.
The best part about the whole thing is the special guest appearance, Malaysia’s former Education Minister, YB Maszlee Malik, where he’ll be wearing the iconic No. 237 tracksuit!
According to Weird Kaya, other featured talents include supermodel and actress Intan Ladyana, professional wrestler Nor Diana and Cineplus Asia host Aqinna B.
“Many people have asked for the Malaysian version of Squid Game. We hear you!” they said.
Cineplus Asia also emphasized that Taruh is a fan-made feature film and is meant to be fun.
This sounds like a good film. We can’t wait!
