It was only moments ago we wrote about the King and Queen handing out KFC to weary media personnel camping outside Istana Negara. This time, his Majesty himself delivered free lunch to the reporters!
At 1:30 pm, local media agencies reported that our Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, had come out to the palace grounds to deliver free lunch to the media personnel camped outside.

His Majesty expressed his concerns about the current political climate and advised the media personnel to be patient in waiting for all stakeholders to find the best solution.
"We are very concerned. Be patient.”
"Let me do my duty. I hope to find the best solution," His Majesty told reporters outside Istana Negara Gate 2 on Tuesday afternoon (Feb 24).
While handing out McDonald’s burgers and fries to hungry media personnel, His majesty was also seen enjoying some fries and sharing a light moment with the crowd.
"Sedap (delicious). I'm hungry," said His Majesty as he took a French fry and ate it.
Just yesterday, the king had generously tapau-ed some KFC to press members who were waiting outside Istana Negara for developments since news of the Pakatan government downfall broke on Sunday (Feb 23).
His Majesty’s generosity certainly had not gone unnoticed in Twitterverse, with many thinking of ways on how they too could enjoy free KFC and MCD outside the palace grounds.
Recently, His Majesty has announced that he will be interviewing 90 MPs, one by one, starting at 2.30pm today, to determine who has the majority in Parliament.
