He managed to raise RM5,000 in just 24 hours by selling his preloved clothes, as well as receiving donations from his followers, to set up a food bank which provides rice, milk, flour, sanitary pads, sugar and other essential food items.
“Thank God, through the sales of my preloved clothes on my Instagram story, in just 24 hours, we raised an amount which exceeded my expectations! I managed to raise RM5,000 by selling 50 of my preloved clothes, and also received donations from several individuals. I will also take out some money from my monthly salary to be given to charity,” he wrote.
He ended his post by thanking his followers who supported his small effort in helping those in need.
