Man in Taman Puchong Perdana was caught on CCTV pocketing money that was accidentally left by an elderly man at an ATM.
CCTV footage was uploaded on the We Are Malaysians Facebook page, which shows an elderly man who was withdrawing money at an ATM but then walks away, leaving his cash hanging out the slot.

A man, who was standing behind him in a queue then tries to insert his card, but finds the money instead, which he hastily pulls out and pockets it. He then takes the receipt from the pakcik’s transaction and leaves it on top of the machine.
The short video caused a stir among netizens online, “Poor pakcik forgot his money. The man in blue, please return the money to pakcik,” said one person.
Netizens also offered advice on how the pakcik could get his money back, “Go to the bank and report. You can retrieve the money since there is CCTV footage. It’s a crime if the man in the blue shirt keeps the money and uses it.”
Others commented that the bank can trace the man’s identity as he already inserted his card into the ATM.
