Just recently, a photo showing a group of men occupying seats in the women's coach on the MRT has garnered significant attention.
The situation unfolded when a user, Pedoq, shared the photo showcasing the men in clear violation of the designated seats for women on the train. Adding to the concern, the men not only breached the rules by sitting in the ladies' coach but also obstructed the pathway with their bicycles.

As of the current moment, the post has amassed 1 million views, with netizens vehemently expressing their disapproval of the men's actions.
A user remarked, "They might have chosen the women's coach for its direct connection to the lift, but it's still unacceptable. The bicycle should be placed at the back or front of the coach, not blocking the middle.
“They're diligent enough to cycle for kilometers but too lazy to move the bike a bit to the end of the coach."
Addressing the issue, another user questioned, "Firstly, are they allowed to bring bicycles inside? Secondly, why did they enter the women's coach?"
Responding to this query, a netizen suggested, "They are permitted to bring bicycles into the MRT during non-peak hours, but sitting in the women's coach? Let's give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps it's their first time taking the MRT, and they are unaware of the gender division."
Additionally, a user shared an image of an announcement by MRT Corp, stating that passengers can bring non-foldable bicycles onto the MRT only during specific hours.
According to the poster, non-foldable bicycles are allowed on the train from 6 am to midnight on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Smaller two-wheel vehicles, such as foldable bicycles and scooters, are permitted during non-peak hours on weekdays, specifically from 10 am to 3 pm and 8 pm to midnight, Monday to Friday.
