A Man Was Arrested By Police After Video Of Him Wearing PDRM Uniform Went Viral

Please don’t do this, guys, or you will get in trouble with the authorities!

Recently, a 41-year-old man was arrested by police after they received a report at the Subang Jaya Police Station regarding a man who uploads TikTok videos while wearing a police uniform.

A post shared by Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS on Facebook said that the police raided his home in Taman Kuala Selangor after the information was received and found two police uniforms complete with accessories - a nametag, hats, and others.

It was then confirmed that the man was a former police volunteer in 2014, and he did not return his uniform. 

When questioned by the police, the man admitted that he was trying to imitate the actor Rajinikanth in his film, Darbar.

The 30-second video that went viral showed the man in sunglasses, wearing an official Royal Malaysia Police uniform imitating the Indian actor. 

According to Harian Metro, only members of the police force are allowed to use or wear the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) logo and uniform.
