On Tuesday (March 30th), Utusan reported that a 29-year-old woman was believed to have committed suicide after she was found unconscious in her car in Ipoh, Perak.

According to the District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz, members of the public found her in the driver’s seat of her car that was parked behind a shop building in the Jelapang industrial area in Ipoh.
He said that the woman was found unconscious at around 9:15 am, and the car’s engine was turned off. They also found a pan containing charcoal on the floor of the front passenger’s side as well as a note written in Chinese.
Asmadi added that police had to break the window on the driver’s side to check on the woman, but she was no longer breathing and was confirmed dead at the scene.
“After investigations, it was found that she lived with her boyfriend and he had lodged a police report on her disappearance.

Her body was taken to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for an autopsy.
