This troubling development began months ago when social media and local news outlets were flooded with warnings about nails deliberately placed along the roads of Rawang, creating a hazard for unsuspecting pedestrians and joggers.

The danger, however, hasn't faded. A newly surfaced video shared by @mynewshub shows a man jogging along the roads of Kota Emerald in Rawang, where he recounts stepping on one of these concealed nails, intentionally lodged into the road with the pointed end facing upwards.

The man explained how the heads of the nails had been removed, leaving only the sharp tips protruding dangerously from the ground. "There weren't just one or two, but four nails in total, and one even got stuck in my shoe," he shared.

Although the thick sole of his shoe prevented any serious injury, the situation remains concerning. This isn't the first time nails have been discovered in the area, but they seem to have been moved to a new location, possibly because the perpetrator noticed an increase in foot traffic.

Netizens were quick to express their shock and dismay in the comment section, with many asking why someone would engage in such harmful behavior.

As this issue persists, joggers and those using public spaces are urged to remain vigilant. Always be mindful of your surroundings, especially when running or exercising in lesser-known areas.

Staying alert and cautious can help ensure your safety while enjoying the outdoors!
