One area that authorities are paying very close attention to is the security of the vaccines.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, however, says the government has got everything covered.

He says arrangements have been made for the Police and Armed Forces to ensure the vaccine is safe.

“PDRM and ATM will be helping out, not just to keep the vaccine safe during storage, but also when it is being transported across the country”

“The vaccine is extremely valuable right now”, he added.

In a related development, Khairy also assured that Malaysians who’ve received the first dose of the vaccine are guaranteed the second one.

He explained that when you come in to receive the vaccine for the first time, the second dose will be reserved for your next jab 21 days later.

In the meantime, if you have any more questions about the vaccination program you can download the immunization plan guidebook from vaksincovid.gov.my

And, remember, registration for the vaccination program begins on March 1st, with details to come soon.
