The singer, actor, and television host had gone through several COVID-19 tests throughout his shoots but the latest one came back positive.
In his Instagram post, he shared a photo of him in a hospital gown with the caption, “I was shocked when I received my results. The first thing that came into mind is the health and safety of my family, my wife and children, and my team at the shooting set.”
He added that he has given a list of names of those who were in contact with him in the last 14 days to the Ministry of Health (MOH) saying, “I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and pray to God for recovery and the strength to go through this.”
Previously, Alif also shared a photo of him on Instagram taking a swab test at the set of ‘Penjara Janji’ with the caption, “I want to encourage you to do a swab test for the safety of the people around you. It’s not painful, just a slight discomfort.”
Fans and celebrity friends have reached out to him on his Instagram account to wish him a speedy recovery including ERA’s announcer Radin, and Alif’s Big Stage 2020 co-host, Sherry Alhadad.
