Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) would like to inform that the water supply has been distributed in stages starting from 7.00 am, 1 September 2021 to consumers in areas affected by the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (Sg. Semenyih WTP) shutdown due to the odour pollution incident in Sungai Semenyih.

Air Selangor has conducted water quality testing and it complied with the standards set by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Treated water from Sg. Semenyih WTP has also been certified safe for distribution to consumers by Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN).

Currently, Air Selangor is working to stabilise the water supply distribution system to all affected areas. Water supply in all 463 affected areas is expected to fully recover at 12.00 am, 3 September 2021.

Air Selangor will continue to mobilise alternative water supply assistance to the affected consumers and critical premises. A total of 94 water tankers have been mobilised to the affected consumer areas during this unscheduled water supply disruption.

Air Selangor is seeking the consumers' cooperation to practice social distancing and wear face masks while collecting the water supply from the water tankers.
