A massive landslide was reported on Jalan Tapah-Cameron Highlands this morning (September 15th) near Batu 16 and Batu 20.
The incident occurred at around 10 am, blocking all lanes and causing heavy traffic heading towards Cameron Highlands.
Tapah police officials said that the debris near Kampung Batu 16 was cleared not long after the incident happened, but the area is still being monitored as at noon.
While road clearance works are underway in Batu 20, drivers from Ringlet and Tanah Rata who want to head down from Cameron Highlands will need to use the Simpang Pulai road.
All drivers heading to Cameron Highlands via the PLUS Highway, can exit at the Simpang Pulai Toll Plaza, and from there, head to Cameron Highlands.
