Remember the mysterious, shabby, green Kancil in Penang that went viral months ago?
The condition of the car is truly a testimony for a Kancil, given the state it is in. Full of cracks, suffering from vandalism, and fitted with a broken driver’s door, the car can still amazingly move around. On the inside, it contains many recyclables, which many presume the owner sells to make a living.
The adventures of the car and its owner seem to have come to an end when the driver was stopped by police at KM15 of Jalan KL-Ipoh last Friday.

Superintendant Arsad Kamaruddin, Deputy Chief of Police Gombak, said the vehicle was found on the shoulder of the road along with the driver at around 10 am, thanks to reports by the public. The car was confiscated after it was found that the road tax expired in September 2018.
He added that 45 year old driver who hails from Raub was also arrested for not owning a driver’s license.
