The Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) will officially open to the public starting tomorrow, 12.01am on October 14th.
The route will also be toll free starting from the opening date until November 30th 2022.

It measures 20.1km in length from Puncak Perdana to Penchala, and has a 55.4km effective length when its interchanges are included.

It also connects to several other routes, which include the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), the Penchala Link and the Sprint Expressway.

The DASH expressway is expected to significantly reduce travel time, relieving traffic congestion along Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari by 39%, Jalan Sungai Buloh by 33% and Persiaran Surian by 43%.
One of the cool features of this expressway is a fully enclosed highway noise barrier located near Damansara Perdana; a first for a Malaysian highway.
There’s also the ‘Spaghetti Link’ near Empire City, which is a network of seven ramps from other existing highways such as the LDP and the Penchala Link with the Penchala Interchange.

This is the second highway opened by Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings (Prolintas) within two months, after the launch of the Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) last month.
