An incident involving a damaged car near the Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) construction site last night (September 20th) has caused a lot of confusion.

People on social media were quick to speculate, with some claiming that it was similar to another mishap that had happened on the same highway on Saturday (September 19th).

At the weekend, a concrete slab from the elevated highway project fell onto a passing car, with the victim sustaining minor injuries.

However, highway concessionaire Prolintas has denied that there was any link between the two incidents.

So what actually happened in last night's accident?

Police have classified the case as a hit-and-run involving a mobile crane and a car.

They believe that it could have been the hook of the crane that likely caused the damage.

Luckily though, the car driver sustained no injuries.
