Sarawak recently recorded its youngest COVID-19 death when a five-year-old boy succumbed to the virus on Wednesday (October 6th).

According to NST, a Sarawak Disaster Management Committee Secretariat spokesperson said the boy breathed his last breath at the Miri Hospital.
He was among the 14 deaths recorded between September 30th and October 8th.
The young boy also suffered from an excessive weight issue.
“This is the youngest victim who has died (from the virus) in Sarawak so far.
The other deaths during the nine-day period involved eight male patients and five female patients aged between 41 and 89. These patients suffered from comorbidities.
Our condolences go out to those who have lost their loved ones to COVID-19.
