A four-month-old baby boy who was allegedly abused at a daycare center in Batu Buruk in Kuala Terengganu last Wednesday (4 January) is now in a coma at a local hospital.
According to reports, the infant sustained severe wounds, including a fractured skull and brain hemorrhaging.

Terengganu police chief, Rohaimi Isa said the father filed a police report after picking up his son from the daycare center and found the little boy weak and in pain.
The father, who is also a medical officer, had taken his son to the hospital for examination after finding blood clots in his head.
Police had detained three babysitters ages between 22 to 33 to help with the investigation. He also told reporters that the police had obtained CCTV footage, as reported by FMT.
The boy is currently being treated in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah hospital.
The case is being investigated in accordance with Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act, which carries a potential fine or sentence of up to RM50,000 or both if found guilty.
