According to The Star, Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said a total of 528 individuals were arrested while three were remanded for various offences.

“Among the violations committed were for nightclub activities (203), including not wearing a facemask (149), failing to provide devices for recording of customers’ details (101), failing to comply with physical distancing (73), and others,” he said.

Ismail Sabri also said the compliance operations task force led by police had conducted 31,155 checks to monitor and enforce the SOPs.

The checks were carried out at supermarkets, restaurants, factories, banks, and government offices, among others.

We likely still have a long way until all of this is over. Please be responsible, and take care of yourself and the people around you!

Remember to follow the SOPs, wear a face mask and maintain physical distancing when in crowded places.
