These viruses are highly contagious that spread from person to person through human contact of droplets that people expel into the air when they cough or sneeze. That’s why it’s very important you do the dap when you sneeze or cough.

According to Medical News Today, when someone has a cold, their symptoms usually peak in 2-3 days and start to get better within 10-14 days. 

The symptoms of cold may include:

  1. Sneezing

  2. A stuffy and runny nose

  3. Sore throat

  4. Coughing

  5. Postnasal drip

  6. Watery eyes

Sometimes, people with a cold can also develop a fever, however, this is a less common symptom. 

While there is no cure for a cold, there are some things you can do to ease the symptoms while you recover. So, if you’re having a cold, why not try...

  1. Resting

  2. Staying hydrated!

  3. Using a clean humidifier

  4. Using saline nasal spray or drops

  5. Inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water, or in the shower

  6. Sucking throat lozenges to soothe a sore throat

There’s really no way to get rid of a cold fast because it usually goes away on its own without any specific treatments. 

So, get plenty of rest and drink lots of water. You’ll feel better in no time!
