Who says you can’t camp at home? Set up a family-size tent in the backyard and bring out some charcoal and wood to set up a campfire at night, and don’t forget to include marshmallows. To make things a little more exciting, use a torchlight to shine your way or make shadow puppets. This will guarantee to keep your family entertained all evening.
2. Train your pet

What better place to train your pet than at a cosy place called home? If your pet is biting your shoes all the time or if it’s peeing everywhere on the carpets, I think it’s time you step up your training game. Take this opportunity to train your pet so that you can spend more quality bonding time with them, and never forget to reward them with their favorite treats if they do a good deed.
3. Build a fort

Blanket forts provide countless hours of fun for the kids. Bring out all the sheets and blankets and build a fort at home and pretend that you are living in a cave. And who says forts are only for kids? Set up a home theatre system and put on your favourite movie while you and your other half can spend some lovey-dovey time at home.
4. Treasure hunt at home

Are you tired of the old hide and seek game that you run out of ideas of places to hide? Throw a treasure hunt game at home and divide the family into two teams. Make a list of quizzes and hide things in the weirdest spots to make things more challenging, the winner gets a prize at the end of the game.
5. Reorganize your home

Because you have been busy at work and left with no time to organize your home, now is the best time to do it. You can do all sorts of things like rearranging the furniture or clear out old and unwanted things or even go through some of your treasured belongings. Take a moment to go through old pictures and albums from the past and take a trip down memory lane. This is the best time to catch up with your loved ones and have a good laugh, why not?
