Tanjung Harapan or also known as the ‘Cape of Good Hope’ in Port Klang, Selangor offers you a calm oasis amidst the bustling industrial estates. The 2km stretch of tree-lined shoreline bordering the Port Klang Golf Resort is a great place for you to fish while watching the sunset. Entrance fees may vary depending on which jetty you go to but the Sea Lion and Pak Harun Jetty are the more popular ones among fishing enthusiasts in Selangor.
2) Pulau Ketam, Port Klang

The mangrove Island of Pulau Ketam has four neighbouring fishing villages consisting of Ketam Island Township, Bagan Teo Chew, Sungai Lima and Sungai Dua. To get to Pulau Ketam, you need to take a ferry ride from the Port Klang jetty, with a one way ticket costing RM10 for adults and RM6 for children and a two-way ticket, costing RM18 for adults and RM10 for children. Ferry service from the Alibaba Pulau Ketam Cruises also operates from 7:30am until 7:30pm during the weekends and from 7:30am until 6:30pm on weekdays.
3) One Fanthom Bank, Kuala Selangor

One Fanthom Bank, located at Kuala Selangor, is also known as Pematang Sedepa. A lot of fishing groups come here not only to fish but to enjoy the breath-taking view from the One Fanthom Bank. In order to get here, visitors would need to take a boat ride from Tanjung Harapan or Port Klang jetty. The cost of these boat rides depend on the rental provider.
4) Pantai Jeram, Kuala Selangor

Pantai Jeram is popular more for its waterfront beach that stretches up to 2km, packed with visitors, especially during weekends and public holidays. Fishing enthusiasts would come here to try their fortune by casting their baits toward the sea in hopes of getting some fish. Not only is Pantai Jeram great for a fishing adventure it is also an ideal place to have a peaceful and carefree stroll by the beach.
5) Pulau Angsa, Kuala Selangor

Pulau Angsa, located off the coast of Kuala Selangor, is around 2 hours from Shah Alam to the nearest jetty, Pangkalan Jeram (Medan ikan bakar). Visitors would need to take a boat to reach Pulau Angsa but there are also fishermen to bring you around the island for a small fee. Some interesting catch you might get from fishing here includes the Fourfinger Threadfin, Spanish Mackerel, Golden Snapper and more.
