Going to the movies is not something new for Malaysians.
Before cinemas were popular, Malaysia used to have wayang pacak around the 1960’s, until the 1970’s when movies began being screened outdoors using a projector and a makeshift screen.
...and now Malaysia is trying out the first drive-in cinema concept, called M-Junction, which is expected to be launched in KL very, very soon (probably by this year!).
M-Junction made the announcement on their Instagram page, which made netizens extremely excited (including us!).
It’s also easier to maintain social distancing while enjoying a movie night at the cinema since everybody will be in their own cars!
Not only is it a great place to have a movie night out with your friends but it’s also something different you can do on a date night.
