Malaysian singer and actress, Daiyan Trisha has admitted that the claim made by some on social media about her lifestyle being maintained by a "sugar daddy" is hurtful.

Many on the internet have questioned how she could afford to buy a house at such a young age.
Daiyan recently stated that she is now the owner of a property due to her own hard work, "They may believe that I do not deserve all of this.
“But if these people were my fans and followers, they would know how hard I've worked since I first entered the industry in 2013,” she said, as reported by NST.
She went on to say that the accusation was serious and demonstrated how some people still believe that a woman cannot stand on her own two feet in order to be successful.
