Kids go through a lot throughout their lives and the first day of school can perhaps be one of the worst days as there is just so much anxiety and sadness that can be associated with this big moment.

But this process can be difficult for moms and dads too, especially if it’s their first child.

One video that has gone viral on TikTok proves that it’s just as hard for the parents as it is for the kids…

In the video, a group of fathers can be seen standing on top of a bench at a bus stop outside of their children’s school, and it seemed like they were trying to see over the wall to “spy” on their kids.

“It’s the fathers who are the saddest when it comes to their kids’ first day of school,” the caption reads.

The video has since gone viral online with over 846,800 views at the time of writing.

Malaysian netizens took to the comment section to share their amusement, saying that the fathers are “adorable.”

“It must be their daughters that are in school,” one person commented.

“I feel like their wives told them to check on their kids and they would get scolded if they come home without any updates,” another person said jokingly.
