Woman Shares Her Frustration After Lato-Lato Toy Broke Her Car’s Windscreen

The ‘lato-lato’ craze has seen a surge of popularity especially in Malaysia and Indonesia, however, it has been banned in some schools due to safety concerns.

Besides its loud clacking sound, which some people find annoying… The toy, apparently, has also caused some injuries.

One TikTok user shared photos of her car’s cracked windscreen on TikTok after it was hit by the toy.

She wasn't sure how it actually happened, but she suspected a child was playing the lato-lato next to her car which then accidentally flew out of their hand and hit her windscreen, adding that she also found the toy abandoned under her car.

“Hopefully the government will soon ban this toy,” she wrote.

The video has since garnered over 647,900 views at the time of writing.

Netizens took to the comment section to sympathise with her saying, “I thought the sound was bad. I’m so sorry this happened to you.”

“This is going to be expensive for you. The windscreen, the tint. You have to ask the parents to pay for the damage,” one person said.

Aiyo! That looks bad.

What would you guys do if you were in her situation?
