It was reported last Monday (29 August) that the bear was searching for food in the rice field nearby.
How kesian! The bear looks lost and confused, and it’s probably really hungry!
Berita Harian reported that the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) Selangor director, Dennis Ten Choon Yung said that a team was sent to the location as soon as they heard about the news.
Officers arrived at the location at around 8 am, however, the bear was nowhere to be found, despite monitoring and investigations done by his team.

Wild animals are dangerous. Most of the time, they want nothing to do with you but if you somehow end up face to face with one, make sure you stay as far away from them as you can.
Once you know that you are safe and out of their sight, try to take some pictures of the animal and immediately call the authorities, so they can help catch the animal (who is probably lost) and send them back into the wild, where they will be safe.
