A photo of three men sitting in the women’s KTM coach recently went viral after it was shared on the Malaysian subreddit, r/Malaysia with their faces covered by a clown emoji.
What angered some Malaysians is the fact that they were sitting under a pink sign that read “This is the women’s coach, women only” which made it abundantly clear that the coach was intended only for females.

Additionally, there is also a male logo that has been crossed out next to the signs as well.
Several Malaysians came forward to share their opinions on the matter after the post received a 95% upvote.
A few users claimed that the lack of enforcement was undoubtedly a contributing factor in this issue’s occurrence, however some believe that it’s actually the people’s attitude: “A society shouldn’t have to function under enforcement. Look at Japan, there aren’t a lot of public trash cans but that doesn’t mean the people litter all over the place.”
“I’m pretty sure they know how to read, just don’t want to follow,” one person said.

Fortunately, the three men were later chased out of the women’s coach when a policewoman at the Kajang KTM station did a spot check!
What do you guys think of this? Is it the lack of enforcement or just our attitudes?
