A’an commenced the video by emphasising the detrimental effects of storing food and drinks in plastic containers within cars. With the soaring temperatures inside vehicles, these items become susceptible to heat exposure, potentially compromising health.
Continuing his advice, A’an cautioned against leaving power banks inside cars due to the risk posed by their lithium-ion batteries, which can be hazardous when subjected to high temperatures.
Addressing smokers directly, A’an warned against leaving lighters in cars, emphasising their tendency to overheat and ignite rapidly, particularly in hot environments.
Furthermore, A’an highlighted the danger of storing spare petrol in bottles or Jerry tanks within cars, stressing that flammable substances can ignite under heat exposure, debunking the misconception that sparks are the sole ignition source.
Aerosol-based products emerged as another concern, encompassing items like perfume bottles, car fresheners, or bug spray. A’an elucidated on their potential for explosion under extreme heat due to the expansion of their chemical compositions.
Concluding with a grave reminder, A’an underscored the importance of ensuring children exit the car with the driver to prevent incidents of children being left unattended inside vehicles, a scenario tragically witnessed both domestically and internationally.
Engaging with A’an's insights, numerous Malaysians shared their experiences of inadvertently leaving items in their cars, leading to adverse consequences. From experiencing illness due to contaminated water left in the vehicle to facing near-catastrophic incidents like aerosol cans exploding, users acknowledged the importance of A’an's advice.
Some users recounted personal incidents where aerosol sprays caused fires or explosions inside their cars, highlighting the severity of the issue. However, A’an reassured users about the importance of keeping fire extinguishers handy in cars, offering a practical solution for emergencies.
A’an's informative video garnered appreciation from users, prompting them to reconsider their habits and pledge to avoid storing such items in their cars, thus prioritising safety amidst challenging weather conditions.
