Malaysians have taken to social media to warn female drivers to not engage with strangers while on the road.
No matter where we are, we need to always be aware of our surroundings.

Recently, a video went viral on Twitter of a man who got out of his vehicle to knock on a woman’s window… just to ask for her phone number!
Now, what will you do if the same thing happens to you? Most of you would start rolling down your windows assuming that it would be something alarming. But remember, doing that can be dangerous!
So be vigilant, especially when you are driving alone!
In the video, the man is seen stopping at a red light before he gets out of his vehicle and starts walking over to the car in front of him, which was believed to be driven by a woman.
The man is then seen knocking on her window, asking her to roll it down for him, “If you’re a man, you have to be confident,” the text on the video reads.
A Twitter user by the name of Megs, who reshared the video said: “No wonder women don’t feel safe. Why would you knock on her window, in the middle of the road asking for her number?”
The video has since garnered over 603,000 views at the time of writing.
Many took to the comment section to warn other women drivers to not engage with strangers, especially when they’re alone…
“As a man, I, myself would be scared if a stranger came over and knocked on my window. This is not safe!” said one person.
“This happened to me before. A man walked over to my car, knocked on the window and showed me his phone. I ignored him and waited until it’s time to move,” said another person, “PLEASE DON’T DO THIS. It’s not funny and is a straight up assault.”
