Partnering with the production company Fremantle, Malaysian satellite television company Astro has acquired the game show format to produce local versions in three different languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil, and English.

The show will feature three different hosts for each language version, including comedian and emcee Douglas Lim for the English version, radio announcer and actor Nabil Ahmad for the Bahasa Malaysia version, and host and RAAGA presenter Ram for the Tamil version.

In addition to these versions, the show will also curate a celebrity edition that will feature notable personalities across Malaysia. The winnings from this series will be donated to selected charities.

Legendary comedian and host of Family Feud in the US, Steve Harvey, also sent a congratulatory message to Malaysia for the announcement of the local versions of the show.

In a 25-second clip, Harvey praised the show's diverse presentation in three different languages and wished it well for the future. He also playfully stated, "There is only one Steve Harvey, and that is me," in response to hearing that the Malaysian versions have their own Steve Harvey.

Harvey closed his message with the Malaysian catchphrase, "Malaysia Boleh," meaning "Malaysia can do it," and expressed his excitement to watch the show.

The Bahasa Malaysia version of Family Feud Malaysia currently airs every Monday and Tuesday at 11 pm on Astro Ria. The Tamil version is expected to debut in May on Astro Vinmeen, while the English version is set to debut in September on PRIMEtime.

The show's diverse offerings in different languages and its enthusiastic reception in Malaysia make it a promising addition to the country's entertainment landscape.
