Recently, a video went viral showing a resident who put up a grill around their house which sparked anger among netizens.

The resident even left a note on the gate saying: “Any businesses with C-17-02, please use the front gate, the door is not locked.”
The video has since received over 196,700 views at the time of writing.
Netizens took to the comment section to share their reaction and condemn the action of the resident, “You need to report this to the council. The corridor is not your personal right. They can’t do this!”
One person even pointed out that it’s dangerous to have a locked gate in the middle of a corridor, “Please look into this JBPM (Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia). What if a fire broke out?”
